Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry/Stepdown Unit
Facility: University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center
Contract Type: Travel Assignment (13 Weeks)
Combined Cardiac Telemetry/PCU (Higher Acuity)
Shift Schedule:
Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30)
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Holiday Coverage: Rotating ( major holidays )
Patient Ratio: 1:5–6 ( higher acuity PCU patients included )
Active RN License: Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Telemetry/PCU experience ( first-time travelers considered )
Telemetry monitoring ( dysrhythmia interpretation )
TR band care post-cath, chest tube management
EPIC proficiency ( preferred )
~ Experience with sepsis, CHF, post-MI care
