Overview
As an MRI Tech, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining MRI equipment, preparing patients for imaging procedures, and ensuring the safe and effective delivery of diagnostic imaging services. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care and achieve outstanding clinical results. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and is committed to staying current with industry developments.
Required Skills
- Current certification as an MRI Technologist (RMT or RT(R) in the United States)
- 2+ years of experience in MRI technology
- Strong knowledge of MRI equipment and imaging protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic life support (BLS) certification
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with EPIC imaging software
- Familiarity with IVS and OFFER scheduling systems
- Knowledge of patient positioning and comfort techniques
- Experience with radiation safety and patient protection
Preferred Education and Experience
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
- Experience working in a hospital or imaging department setting
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
Other Requirements
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, including 8 hours evenings and every other weekend
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (required)
- Must have all work history information, including bed count, EMR, and facility type, complete and up-to-date
