Contract Type: Travel Assignment (16 Weeks)

Job Details

Shift Schedule:

• Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30)
• Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
• Holiday Coverage: Rotating ( no holiday RTO accepted )
• Float Requirement: To other Cone Health campuses as needed

Patient Ratio: 1:5 ( days ), nights vary

Requirements & Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications:

• Active RN License: North Carolina (NC) ( required at submission )
• Certifications:
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS ( required )

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/Stepdown experience ( first-time travelers accepted )
• Required Skills:
  • Cardiac drip titration (vasoactive, insulin)
  • Dysrhythmia interpretation/telemetry monitoring
  • PICC/Central line management, chest tube care
  • EPIC proficiency ( non-negotiable )
• Preferred: Charge nurse experience

Unit & Facility Details

• Unit Size: 34 beds ( all telemetry-monitored )
• Patient Population:
  • Stroke backup, sepsis (lactate ≤4), renal/endocrine disorders
  • GI/hematological conditions
• Monitoring: Centralized Cardiac Monitoring Department (CCMD)
