Bookkeeper Position

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented bookkeeper to join our team in Bellevue, Washington. In this role, you will manage various accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with company standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a thorough understanding of bookkeeping principles.

Responsibilities:

  • Process purchase orders and associated landed cost documentation for inventory.
  • Manage vendor and supplier invoices, ensuring accurate accounts payable processing.
  • Create and distribute accounts receivable invoices for customer sales and deliveries.
  • Facilitate vendor payments through checks or wire transfers, ensuring timely transactions.
  • Assist in preparing monthly budget reports to monitor expenses and sales performance.
  • Support the annual audit process by coordinating with external auditors and preparing necessary documentation.
  • Generate and review aging reports for accounts receivable and accounts payable to track outstanding balances.
  • Follow up on overdue payments and notify management of any significant issues.
  • Reconcile asset and liability records across multiple business entities to maintain accuracy.
  • Process payments for business expenses using online platforms, checks, or wire transfers.

The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000. Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision - 100% paid by employer 401k with safe harbor contribution 1 week PTO 9 paid holidays +7 floating holidays 6 days sick time.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
  • Familiarity with GAAP accounting principles and practices.
  • Ability to perform bank reconciliations and manage financial records.
  • Solid understanding of debit and credit transactions.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and ensure secure handling of employee files.
