About The Role
We are seeking an accomplished and motivated Vice President of Commercial Lending to join our team. This position is responsible for developing, managing, and growing commercial lending relationships, while supporting the overall vision and growth of the bank. As a Vice President of Commercial Lending, you will play a critical role in ensuring sound lending practices, mentoring staff, and representing Bank of Luxemburg in the business community.
What You’ll Do
Lead commercial lending efforts by interviewing applicants, underwriting loans, and making credit decisions within established lending limits. Manage a portfolio of commercial loans, ensuring compliance with terms and identifying opportunities to strengthen client relationships. Partner with businesses to provide tailored financial solutions that support growth and success. Drive business development by cultivating new relationships and expanding existing ones. Collaborate with colleagues across the bank to deliver a full suite of financial services to customers. Represent Bank of Luxemburg at community and industry events, promoting our brand and commitment to local growth.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree and at least 8–9 years of progressive experience in commercial lending. Proven expertise in underwriting, financial analysis, and risk management. Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to develop lasting business connections. Leadership capabilities, including staff development and coaching. A self-motivated, sales-oriented professional with excellent communication and decision-making skills.
