As DWF continues to grow and the HR function is focused on delivering a truly global operating model, we are now seeking a skilled and experienced Payroll & Benefits Specialist to support our North America payroll and benefit administration activities. The Payroll & Benefits Specialist, NAM will be responsible for processing payroll operations across all US and Canada entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all aspects of payroll administration. This role is also responsible for handling all benefit administration needs in the region. Responsibilities

North America Payroll: Deliver all aspects of payroll processing for employees across multiple locations and entities in US and Canada, ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time. North America Benefits Administration: Support all aspects of benefits administration in the region. Ensuring employees are enrolled properly and receiving the appropriate benefit plan coverage per their role and personal elections. This includes but is not limited to: reviewing carrier invoices for accuracy, managing premium cost changes, and ensuring timely, accurate payroll deductions. Employee Queries: Partner with HR Manager staff to address employee Payroll and Benefit related queries ensuring timely and accurate resolution, with professionalism and quality maintained throughout all activity Compliance: Working closely with our internal finance and tax teams and external suppliers to ensure compliance with all relevant North America payroll laws, regulations, and tax requirements in each jurisdiction where the company operates. Process Improvement: Continuously assess and identify areas for improvement with payroll processes and systems to streamline operations, enhance accuracy, and optimize efficiency. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the wider HR team including North America HR, Global Rewards and Payroll teams, Finance, and other departments to ensure alignment and accuracy of payroll and benefit data and processes. Audit Support: Coordinate and support internal and external audits related to payroll and benefits, ensuring compliance and accuracy of all records and processes. Payroll System Maintenance: Working closely with our HR Digital team to ensure the payroll system is up-to-date, secure, and functioning properly. This includes ensuring continuous, accurate integration with our HRIS to minimize manual touchpoints. Staying Informed: Keeping up-to-date with changes in benefit and payroll-related legislation and technology to ensure compliance and efficiency.

What will help you succeed in this role?

Must have experience running North American payrolls Proficiency in payroll software and systems, experience with platform ADP Workforce Now a plus A strong understanding of payroll regulations and tax laws for US and Canada Knowledgeable in administering North America benefit plans including 401k plans. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High level of attention to detail French language skills a plus

What we offer

The salary is $59,000-$67,000 USD depending on experience.
