Pulmonary Medicine Associates (PMA) has been treating patients in the greater Sacramento area since 1973 and is a unique and exciting place to work, with specialties that include critical care, infectious disease, palliative care, pulmonology, pediatric pulmonology, sleep medicine, and travel medicine. We are a busy practice with over 70 providers and 2 outpatient clinic locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the medical group.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of business strategies to enhance operational efficiency and patient care.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement among staff and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, staff, patients, and community partners.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and quality of care.
  • Represent the organization in professional and community settings.
  • Serves as an active participant on select committees as determined by the Board of Directors.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree; Masters degree in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration preferred.
  • 10 + years in a senior leadership role within a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, policies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
