A full-time school psychologist position is available for the Extended School Year (ESY) period, supporting four different elementary schools on-site in Detroit, MI. This role is ideal for a professional skilled in school psychology who can provide comprehensive psychological services and mentorship to an intern during the ESY session.
Responsibilities:
Deliver psychological assessments, interventions, and consultations to students in elementary schools.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to support student development and academic success.
Provide supervision and support to a school psychology intern, facilitating professional growth and effective service delivery.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
Qualifications:
Valid certification or licensure as a school psychologist.
Experience working with elementary-aged children in educational settings.
Ability to provide supervision and mentorship to an intern.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Availability to work full time onsite throughout the ESY period.
