A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the Extended School Year (ESY) to provide essential support across four elementary schools. This onsite role is ideal for a professional dedicated to fostering student success through psychological services and supporting an intern in their practical training.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver psychological assessments and interventions tailored to student needs during the ESY period.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
Provide supervision and mentorship to a school psychology intern, guiding their professional development.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support comprehensive student evaluation and planning.
Maintain accurate, confidential records and documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements.
Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist certification/license.
Experience working in elementary school settings.
Proven ability to perform psychological assessments and intervention strategies.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support students, staff, and interns.
Ability to work onsite across four different school locations within Romulus, MI.
Location:
Romulus, Michigan (onsite at four elementary schools).
