A full-time School Psychologist opportunity is available to support K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting located in Taylor, MI. This contract position spans the full school year, providing comprehensive psychological services that promote student well-being and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments to identify student needs
Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement intervention plans
Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
Support the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to data-driven decision-making
Facilitate behavioral assessments and recommend strategies to improve student outcomes
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure appropriate for the state of Michigan
Experience working within K-12 school environments
Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and techniques
Ability to effectively communicate with students, families, and school personnel
Skills in counseling and behavioral intervention methods
Commitment to confidentiality and ethical practices in education
