Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 18 months of experience and required certifications for a rotating inpatient, outpatient, and ER setting.Job Details•Work in a 3-room nuclear medicine unit serving inpatient, outpatient, and emergency patients,•Expected patient volume of 13-15 cases per day,•Day shifts, 5x8 hour schedule, typically 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM,•Procedures performed include cardiac, bone scan, liver/spleen, lung, thyroid, tumor localization, and myocardial scans,•Preferred experience with brain scans, renal flow, and SPECT studies,•Use of Siemens equipment preferred,•Documentation and charting required in Cerner,•Floating required within the hospital and to nearby affiliate hospitals,Job Requirements•Minimum of 18 months to 2 years of nuclear medicine experience required,•Current BLS and NMTCB certification required; ARRT preferred,•Skill in IV starts and use of PACS system required,•Experience with specified nuclear medicine procedures required,•Ability to provide 2 supervisory references for consideration,•Must have IN or compact license in hand for start dates within 2-4 weeks, or have started licensing process for later dates (license required if applicable),•Graduation from a university accredited by ACEN or CCNE,•First-time travelers will be considered,Additional Information•Responsibility for performing specialized diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures across a broad patient population,•Will be required to float between departments and to affiliate hospitals as needed,•Must complete pre-start modules averaging 4-6 hours,•Candidates are expected to work 2 out of 3 major holidays,•Scrubs or dress code requirements will be provided upon assignment,•Local candidates (IN residents) are accepted for this allied role,•Perm or PRN employees must be separated for at least 12 months before reapplying as travelers,•Up to 5 days of non-holiday requested time off are automatically approved; additional time off requires approval,],•hash,:•1899751178761134489,
