Salesforce Senior Developer CRM
The Senior Salesforce Developer will support the continued growth of the Salesforce Program by delivering new features leveraging UMGC's agile framework. This role will be responsible for contributing to building and maintaining new and existing product features in our complex Salesforce landscape. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to contract developers, ensuring adherence to best practices in code development, configuration, and system architecture. Design and develop customized solutions on the Salesforce platform, including custom objects, flows, triggers, Apex classes, and Lightning Web Components. Ensure solutions align with Salesforce best practices and platform capabilities. Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and design effective solutions. Ensure high code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to coding standards and best practices. Design and manage complex data models, data migration, and data transformation processes within Salesforce. Implement and enforce security best practices to ensure data integrity, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations and organizational policies. Stay updated with Salesforce releases and emerging technologies, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance system capabilities and user experience. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Salesforce-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations. Participate in project planning, estimation, and management to ensure timely delivery of solutions within budget and scope. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all technical solutions, processes, and system configurations. Identify opportunities for automation, innovation, and continuous improvement within the Salesforce environment, implementing best practices. Contribute to building a positive, can-do, high-performance culture by following effective communication.
