American Traveler is seeking an experienced First Assist CST with endoscopic vein harvesting skills for a CVOR travel assignment.Job Details•Work in a large hospital operating room with 23 OR suites, including 4 dedicated CVORs,•Patient population includes adult and some congenital pediatric cardiac and vascular cases,•Typical procedures include CABG, AVR, MVR, pericardial window, aortic dissections, congenital peds, fem pop, AAA, and AV fistula,•Endoscopic vein harvesting is required,•Shift schedule is 4x10s, 7:00AM-5:30PM, with variable call requirements,•Potential to float to the main OR as needed,•Ceil blue scrubs are provided on the unit,Job Requirements•Minimum 2 years of CVOR First Assist experience with on-pump cardiac cases required,•Demonstrated experience in endoscopic vein harvesting,•CST FA or RN FA certification required,•BLS certification from AHA or ARC accepted,•Active state license required if applicable,•No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months,•U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth are required for consideration,Additional Information•Main responsibilities include assisting surgeons during open heart and vascular procedures and performing endoscopic vein harvesting,•Team includes over 125 staff members in the OR,•Candidates should be confident in their clinical skills and knowledge,•Scrub attire is provided in-house,•Weekend and on-call shifts are required and based on vein-harvesting skill set,•No Canadian Social Security Numbers accepted
