American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 2 years of experience, BLS (AHA), and a current CA license for a day shift contract.Job Details•Position is in a hospital nuclear medicine department,•Work involves performing routine and specialized nuclear medicine/CT procedures for diagnosis and treatment,•Day shift, 5x8 hour schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM,•No call or weekend requirements,•Epic EMR experience is preferred,•Patients include adults requiring nuclear medicine imaging and related care,Job Requirements•Current BLS certification (AHA required),•CA state license required,•ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB certification required,•California venipuncture licensure required,•Minimum 2 years recent experience in nuclear medicine,•Epic EMR experience preferred,•License required if applicable,Additional Information•Confidently perform patient assessment, monitoring, and communication to support care,•Adhere to privacy, safety, and regulatory standards while delivering patient care,•May assist in orienting new staff to the department,•Modules completed during orientation through e-learning,•Only one holiday RTO will be approved,•Return staff must be gone for at least one year prior to being eligible as a traveler,•Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing,•Local candidates are accepted at a local pay rate and must live more than 50 miles from the facility,],•hash,:•13705340459426754560,
