Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and California NMT certification for a contract day shift position.Job Details•Position based in a hospital radiology department on the Nuclear Medicine team,•Day shifts scheduled Wednesdays through Fridays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (3x8 hours),•No floating, on-call, or weekend shifts required under normal census,•Patients include those scheduled for nuclear medicine imaging procedures,•Candidates may float to other locations if census is low on the home unit,•Utilizes imaging equipment for radiopharmaceutical administration and scanning,•Epic charting experience is preferred,Job Requirements•Minimum of 2 years experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist,•Current California NMT license required if applicable,•Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification required,•All certifications must be current and from AHA,•Must provide two supervisor references from the last two years,•Epic EMR proficiency preferred,•Must complete required lab work within 3-5 days of signing,•Must live at least 50 miles from the facility,•Return staff must have been gone for at least one year to be considered for travel roles,Additional Information•Prepare and administer radiopharmaceutical dosages, and perform nuclear imaging procedures,•Responsible for maintaining imaging equipment and ensuring safe operation,•Provide patient education on procedures and address any concerns,•Complete required onboarding modules during orientation, with time required varying by specialty,•Only one holiday RTO will be approved during the contract,•Locals are accepted at a local rate,],•hash,:•7744559739737092405,
