Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist with ARRT certification and at least 2 years of CT experience for night shifts.Job Details•Work in a hospital CT scan department with 326 beds,•Night shift position, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Thursday through Saturday,•Responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient CT imaging,•Uses Cerner EMR; prior experience with Cerner is preferred,•Procedures include routine diagnostic CT, head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures,•Requires proficiency with CT system processing, surgical and sterile procedure, and studies with or without contrast,•May be required to perform portable radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, C-arm, and OR imaging,Job Requirements•Valid ARRT certification required,•Texas MRT/TMB license required if applicable,•Registered in CT,•Current BLS certification required,•Minimum 2 years of recent CT experience,•Graduate of an accredited AMA radiologic technology program,•Driver's license required for consideration,•No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months,•No certifications may expire within 30 days of start date,•Permanent home address and US SSN required for consideration,•Must live more than 50 miles from the facility,•A traveler will not be considered if they have worked as perm staff at a CHS facility within the past 2 years,Additional Information•Perform diagnostic services under the direction of a radiologist following departmental protocols,•Responsibilities include processing of CT studies, understanding cross-sectional anatomy, and preparing and administering contrast media as necessary,•Navy blue scrubs are required,•Holiday and weekend coverage may be required as part of the regular schedule,•RTO (requested time off) requests must be less than one week
