Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a night shift travel assignment requiring ARRT certification, BLS, and proficiency in both CT and X-ray.Job Details•Work in a diagnostic radiology department,•Night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM,•No on-call or floating required,•1:1 patient ratio,•Must be able to perform both CT and X-ray procedures,•Procedures include routine diagnostic CT scans (head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities), biopsy/drainage, basic radiographic, fluoroscopy, portable and C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services,•Uses Cerner and PACS for EMR and imaging,•Travel position for candidates residing more than 50 miles from the facility,Job Requirements•Current ARRT certification required,•BLS certification required,•Registered in CT,•Minimum 2 years' experience in X-ray,•Minimum 1 year of experience in CT,•Graduate of an accredited AMA radiologic technologist program,•Active, unrestricted state license required if applicable,•Valid driver's license required,•No employment as permanent staff at a CHS facility in the past 2 years,•No work history gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,•US Social Security Number required for consideration,•All certifications must be valid for the duration of the assignment,Additional Information•Responsible for providing timely diagnostic imaging services for inpatient and outpatient populations,•Demonstrates proficiency in surgical and sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast, and cross-sectional anatomy,•Works under direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols,•Dark grey scrubs required,•Requests for time off must not exceed 7 days,•Former CHS permanent staff are not eligible within 2 years of their last employment
