Additional Information
HVICU nurse with 2 years experience.
Must have BSN and previous contract experience
RTO should not exceed 1 week, and must be able to work 3 shifts all 13 weeks
EOW required.
It's a
specialty ICU
where critically ill patients with
cardiac and vascular conditions
are treated. These units typically care for patients who:
Have undergone
open-heart surgery
, valve replacements, CABG (coronary artery bypass grafting), or vascular surgery.
Require
mechanical circulatory support devices
like ECMO, Impella, or intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP).
Are recovering from
myocardial infarction, heart failure, arrhythmias, or cardiac arrest
.
Need
advanced hemodynamic monitoring
(Swan-Ganz catheters, arterial lines, CVP monitoring).
Require continuous
ventilator management and critical medication drips
(vasopressors, inotropes, antiarrhythmics).
