We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Inbound Receiver to join our warehouse team. This role is critical to our inventory accuracy and supply chain efficiency. The Inbound Receiver is responsible for verifying, documenting, and receiving inbound freight, ensuring that all products meet our quality standards before they enter inventory. The ideal candidate will be highly attentive to detail, able to catch vendor errors, and committed to maintaining clean, organized workspaces.
Key Responsibilities: Unload inbound shipments and match physical counts to packing slips and Bills of Lading (BOL). Inspect all freight for damage, shortages, or errors and document discrepancies. Print and apply labels with correct quantities, descriptions, and units of measure (UOM). Enter received inventory accurately into the warehouse management system (WMS), including expiration dates if applicable. Ensure product is properly priced, assembled (if necessary), and ready for storage or picking. Operate forklifts safely to move and stage pallets; assist with outbound freight loading as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift. Perform end-of-shift housekeeping and equipment parking protocols. Requirements
1+ year of experience in a warehouse environment, preferably in receiving or inventory control. Forklift certification or demonstrated ability to safely operate equipment such as stand-up reach trucks and cherry pickers. Strong attention to detail - must be able to identify shipment discrepancies and input accurate data. Ability to stand, twist, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift. Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems preferred. Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
