Project Architect
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Architect with expertise in creating production drawings and construction documentation using Revit and AutoCAD. The role involves drafting and designing, including some interior architecture, and managing both design and project management duties for assigned projects. Daily work will be conducted in Revit and AutoCAD, creating full sets of construction documents. Responsibilities
Produce detailed production drawings in Revit and AutoCAD. Create comprehensive construction documentation. Draft and design architectural plans with some interior architecture elements. Manage design and project management duties for assigned projects. Oversee 1-2 Intern Architects at a time. Provide leadership for commercial and private projects in data centers, mission-critical, automotive, and medical/healthcare fit-outs. Administer construction activities. Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree in Architecture. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD. Minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate, government, healthcare, or laboratory/research projects. Proven experience in creating construction document sets in Revit and AutoCAD. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Sketch-up, 3D Studio Max, Thea, and Photoshop. Strong design and architectural skills. Leadership skills in handling commercial and private sector projects. Work Environment
The office is located a couple of blocks from the inner harbor in a recently updated space. Parking is paid for by the company. The team consists of 20 employees with an open office layout, requiring everyone to wear multiple hats. A flexible work schedule is offered with the option of one hybrid workday per week after the initial performance review. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baltimore, Maryland. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.86 - $57.69/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
