Maintenance Mechanic's
Currently hiring Maintenance Mechanic's in the Chicago, IL area. Hiring immediately for 2nd and 3rd shifts Job Description
Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs. Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on machinery and replace belts, bearings, chains, shafts, sprockets, and gearboxes. Repair and maintain conveyors, mixers, pumps, scales, x-ray machines, metal detectors, date coders, chillers, proofers, ovens, and baggers. Work with and maintain electrical systems up to 480V. Rewire and replace 3 phase motors, photo eyes, sensors, switches, relays, and fuses. Assist machine operators with machinery setup and changeovers. Perform welding and fabricating tasks. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Essential Skills
3+ years of maintenance experience in both mechanical and electrical fields. Proficiency with bearings, gearboxes, and blueprints. Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics. Ability to work in a GMP environment. PLC troubleshooting experience. Work Environment
Openings are available for 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) and 3rd shift (11:00pm-7:30am). Training will be conducted on the 1st shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM). You must be open to working 6 days a week, 48-55 hours weekly, with random off days. This is a direct hire/permanent position starting out paying $34.35 per hour including benefits and $2.00 shift differential for a total of $36.35 per hour. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
