20252026 School Year Contract Position | Full-Time Schedule Amergis Healthcare Staffing is proud to partner with a much respected school in Southbridge, MA, currently seeking a full-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support an ASD classroom for the 20252026 academic year. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students with developmental and behavioral needs. Position Overview
As a Special Education Paraprofessional, you will work closely with students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. You may support students 1:1, in small groups, or in the general classroom setting. Flexibility is key, as duties may include recess, lunch, bus duty, and assistance with changing/toileting. Schedule

3:00 PM Start Date: August 25, 2025 (Students) Professional Development/Orientation may occur prior to student start Pay Rate: Up to $30/hr Key Responsibilities
Provide behavioral and academic support in an ASD classroom Implement ABA strategies including discrete trials and data collection Assist with de-escalation and trauma-informed practices Support students with behaviors such as aggression, eloping, or self-injury Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff Flexibly assist in other classrooms or school duties as needed Qualifications
Active RBT certification At least one year of RBT experience, plus additional ABA experience highly preferred Experience working with students with ASD or developmental disabilities Ability to speak to experience with: De-escalation techniques and training Trauma-informed care Data collection methods and programs used Discrete trial training District Requirements
