QA Inspector

The QA Manual Inspector 2 is responsible for inspecting machined components, sheet metal components, purchased products, raw materials, assembled products, and outside processing for conformance to engineering drawings and specifications. This role requires reading and interpreting aerospace manufacturing drawings, including tolerances, customer specifications, and technical requirements. Responsibilities

Accurately compare products to engineering drawings/specifications, purchase orders, and manufacturing orders using common manual inspection equipment such as PCM's, height gauges, dial indicators, calipers, micrometers, protractors, profilometers, and bore gauges. Document product acceptance or rejection on manufacturing orders and process any necessary rejection documentation. Perform various MRP system functions. Conduct Rockwell and Eddy Current testing for product acceptance. Understand and apply statistical sampling techniques. Review outside processing certifications of nondestructive testing, chemical processing, and finish, and verify the physical appearance of the final product for conformance to engineering specifications. Complete First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with company and AS9102 requirements. Follow all established safety guidelines, including the proper use of safety equipment and relevant safety procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills

Minimum of three years of hands-on inspection experience in a regulated industry. Two years of recent hands-on inspection experience in the aerospace industry. Passing score on Advanced Level Engineering Drawings Test. Passing score on Fluent Level Test on GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). High school diploma or equivalent. Proficiency in quality assurance, GD&T, quality inspection, root cause analysis, ERP system, CATIA, ENOVIA, micrometers, calipers, quality control, inspection, visual inspection, and blueprint reading. Attention to detail: Recognizes and identifies deviations from requirements. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong customer focus and ability to prioritize customer satisfaction and service. Organizational skills: Keeps working area neat and organized. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Monroe, Washington. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
