Finish Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our growing team. This role involves a variety of tasks, including installing and adjusting doors, windows, and hardware, performing light electrical and plumbing duties, framing and drywall work, and completing various repairs. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in carpentry and be capable of handling punch list duties efficiently. Responsibilities

Install and adjust doors, windows, and hardware. Perform light electrical and plumbing tasks, such as switching out light fixtures and fixing leaks. Frame and hang drywall, as well as repair existing drywall. Clean up paint and caulking. Conduct various repairs, such as fixing sliding glass doors and kitchen drawers. Complete punch list duties as required. Essential Skills

At least 3 years of construction experience. Proficiency in carpentry, particularly finish carpentry. Experience with framing, drywall, and rough carpentry. Ability to use hand tools and install commercial construction components. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with commercial construction is a plus. Familiarity with basic handyman duties, including light electrical, plumbing, painting, drywall, and framing. Must have reliable transportation and be open to travel when necessary. Possess basic hand tools and some basic power tools, such as drills and saws. Why Work Here?

Work a standard Monday to Friday schedule, 40 hours per week with no typical overtime. Projects are primarily located in the greater Nashville area, with occasional travel to nearby cities like Huntsville and Memphis. Travel includes per diem, mileage reimbursement, and accommodations. Steel toe boots are required, with all other PPE provided. The company handles warranty work and outside sales projects, offering a variety of tasks and challenges. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, Tennessee with a starting hourly pay of up to $25.00. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
