Overview
As the Head of Digital Marketing at Tooth & Nail Records Group, you will lead innovative digital strategies to break songs, grow fanbases, and drive revenue for our diverse roster of up-and-coming and established artists across several label brands including Tooth & Nail Records, Solid State Records, BEC Recording & Fugitive Recordings. This role maximizes engagement across social media, streaming platforms, and websites, fostering meaningful connections between artists and fans. As a key part of the marketing team, you will collaborate on platform-native campaigns that amplify cultural impact and music consumption, partnering with artists, managers, and external agencies to deliver compelling digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to break songs, enhance brand awareness, drive fan engagement, and maximize revenue for the label’s artists and catalogue. Collaborate with the marketing & artist teams to ideate, plan, create & execute digital marketing campaigns across the label’s roster, ensuring alignment with artist goals and brand identity. Coordinate creator and influencer marketing strategies, delivering creative, on-budget campaigns that are executed on time and resonate with target audiences. Drive short-form content strategy, creation & execution, prioritizing innovation, creativity, and rapid deployment to capitalize on platform trends (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reels) for artists and label socials. Lead audience development initiatives, setting growth targets for social media, streaming platforms, and paid channels, while cultivating superfan communities. Drive CRM strategy, including audience growth, platform implementation, and creative engagement campaigns to strengthen fan loyalty. Develop and maintain a weekly digital scorecard to track key performance indicators (e.g., streaming numbers, engagement rates, fan acquisition costs) and adapt strategies to industry trends. Oversee the creation, optimization, and maintenance of label websites to ensure user-friendly, on-brand digital experiences. Build and manage relationships with artists, managers, agencies, and social media platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X) to optimize content, and stay ahead of trends. Analyze campaign performance, content reach, CRM growth, and social engagement, providing actionable insights to the marketing team and other departments. Work with company to manage strategic industry partnerships Manage digital marketing budget planning and allocation to ensure cost-effective campaign execution. Provide strategic support for affiliate labels as needed, effectively prioritizing and balancing demands. Qualifications
Nashville based preferred, but will consider other locations. Proven experience in digital marketing, preferably in the music or entertainment industry, with a track record of driving artist growth and engagement. Expertise in social media platforms, short-form content trends, and audience development strategies. Preferred experience with social content editing tools like Photoshop, Final Cut, Premiere, Canva or others. Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Meta, Chartmetric. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively alongside the marketing team and build relationships with artists, managers, and partners. Creative mindset with the ability to deliver innovative, platform-native campaign ideas. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving industry trends.
