The Salisbury VA Medical Center is actively seeking a dedicated, full-time Primary Care Physician to join our compassionate team. Benefits This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan repayment assistance program. Work Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m. Call Schedule: None Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, and regular salary increases Paid Time Off: days per year, including 26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 federal holidays, and up to 5 days paid for CME Retirement: Traditional federal pension (vesting after 5 years) and a 401(k) with up to 5% VA contributions Insurance: Federal health, vision, dental, term life, and long-term care (many federal insurance plans are portable into retirement) Licensure: One full, unrestricted license from any U.S. State or territory CME Reimbursement: Up to $1,000 annually Malpractice: Free liability protection with tail coverage provided Contract: No physician employment contract or significant restrictions on moonlighting Requirements U.S. Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be considered when qualified citizens cannot be recruited, in accordance with VA policy. Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or an equivalent in allopathic or osteopathic medicine. Licensure: Must possess a current, complete, and unrestricted medical license in a U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia. Residency: Completion of an accredited residency in a core specialty. Board Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine.
