We have an opportunity for an Experienced Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our well-established Strike Team. At this time, we can only consider candidates who meet the following criteria: 2+ years of inpatient acute care experience as an advanced practice provider, Residing within easy driving distance (4 hours) of Maryland and/or Northeastern Pennsylvania. Our Strike Team is an internal "locums" team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants who travel to our designated sites to provide temporary coverage. This is a full time position - 14 shifts per 28-day block - with a very competitive salary and great benefits! This position requires at least two years of acute inpatient experience as an advanced practice provider, and the willingness to travel to our partner sites in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Michigan as needed.

Our hospitalist team provides acute inpatient care within the hospital setting, including admitting patients, performing physical exams, ordering tests, diagnosing, performing hospital rounds and planning for discharge.

- Graduate of an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
- Minimum of 18 months acute experience as an advanced practice provider in hospitalist or similar position.
- Active state license, American Heart Association CPR Certification, DEA License, state Controlled Substance Registration
- Strong inpatient skill set
