Hazen is seeking a qualified and experienced Project Engineer to support the planning, design and construction of water and wastewater facility infrastructure in Lexington or Louisville Kentucky.

Key Responsibilities:
n- n
- Work on a wide range of projects to include planning, design, permitting, and construction of structures in water and wastewater (i.e. drinking water, wastewater, water resources, conveyance) n
- Client development opportunities n
- Project management opportunities n
- Technical leadership and staff mentoring opportunities across Hazen’s Midwest region n
- Fieldwork and site visits from planning through construction may be required with occasional travel n
Required Qualifications:
n- n
- 5 - 10 years of experience in relevant municipal water/wastewater design and construction experience n
- Experience in planning, design, and construction for water and wastewater treatment facilities n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and capable of interacting effectively with staff, clients, and regulatory agencies n
- Self-starter with attention to detail n
- Strong organizational skills n
- Proficient in all MS Office based computer software n
- PE license (KY or ability to obtain reciprocity within six months of employment) n
- B.S. degree in Environmental, Civil, or Biosystems engineering n
Qualifications :

- Advanced degree (Master’s) of Science or Engineering from an ABET-accredited U.S. program (other engineering degrees considered case by case) n
