Hazen is seeking a qualified and experienced Project Engineer to support the planning, design and construction of water and wastewater facility infrastructure in Pensacola and throughout the Florida Panhandle and Southern Alabama.

Key Responsibilities:

n
    n
  • Work on a wide range of projects to include planning, design, permitting, and construction of structures in water and wastewater (i.e. drinking water, wastewater, water resources, conveyance)
  • n

  • Technical leadership and staff mentoring opportunities across Hazen’s Southeast region
  • n
  • Fieldwork and site visits from planning through construction may be required with occasional travel

Required Qualifications:

n
    n
  • 5 - 10 years of experience in relevant municipal water/wastewater design and construction experience
  • n
  • Experience in planning, design, and construction for water and wastewater treatment facilities
  • n
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and capable of interacting effectively with staff, clients, and regulatory agencies
  • n
  • Self-starter with attention to detail
  • n
  • Strong organizational skills
  • n
  • Proficient in all MS Office based computer software
  • n
  • PE license (FL or ability to obtain reciprocity within six months of employment)
  • n
  • B.S. degree in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering
  • n
n

Qualifications :

n
    n
  • Advanced degree (Master’s) of Science or Engineering from an ABET-accredited U.S. program (other engineering degrees considered case by case)
