**Position: Quality Assurance Supervisor**

**JOB SUMMARY:**
The Quality Assurance Supervisor ensures that all products meet established quality standards through rigorous testing, inspection, and regulatory compliance. This role combines hands-on lab work, team leadership, and collaboration with product development teams to support new product introduction, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Supervisor leads QA and lab personnel, ensures compliance with industry standards, and contributes to experimental testing and prototype evaluation.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**
**Quality Assurance & Lab Oversight**
+ Supervise QA and laboratory staff, providing technical guidance, training, and support.
+ Oversee daily testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods using chemical and physical methods.
+ Maintain calibration systems and ensure proper functioning of lab and production testing equipment.
+ Ensure quality systems comply with internal standards and external requirements (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
+ Lead root cause investigations for quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
+ Maintain accurate QA documentation, test data, and inspection records for traceability and audits.
+ Support production by reviewing equipment setups and verifying process parameters against product specifications.
+ Promote safety and maintain a clean, compliant lab environment.
**Research & Development Support**
+ Collaborate with product development teams on new product design, experimental testing, and process improvements.
+ Prepare samples, operate lab equipment, and analyze test results for accuracy and consistency.
+ Document experiments and communicate key findings to project stakeholders.
+ Assist in pilot runs, prototype evaluation, and technical troubleshooting.
+ Contribute to technical reports, presentations, and performance data for internal use.
+ Maintain R&D lab equipment and assist with repairs or modifications as needed.
+ Participate in cross-functional problem-solving and technical reviews.
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ AA/BS in Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering, or a related applied science field; extensive QA and lab experience considered for associate-level candidates.
+ 5+ years of experience in quality assurance or R&D in a manufacturing or chemical environment (experience with plastics or composites preferred).
+ Strong lab skills, including chemical testing, material evaluation, and experimental design.
+ Experience with quality management systems (ISO, AS9100).
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office; ERP experience preferred.
+ Demonstrated ability to lead teams, resolve quality issues, and communicate effectively.
+ Strong documentation, analytical, and presentation skills.
**PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:**
+ Background in polymer science, composites, or advanced manufacturing.
+ Experience supporting technical evaluations or addressing customer quality concerns.
+ Familiarity with experimental design, data analysis, and prototype testing.Medical, Dental and Vision offered plus 401K
**Pay Details:** $75,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
