Speech Therapist in Hayward, CA

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification is needed to provide support for K-12 students in a school setting located in Hayward, CA. This contract position runs from ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY) with the option for full-time (37.5 hours per week) or part-time schedules to accommodate candidate preferences. The SLP will support two elementary schools with high caseloads. Responsibilities include providing direct speech and language therapy services to students as well as conducting assessments approximately 1-2 days per week. For part-time candidates, a 0.6 FTE schedule is available, splitting one day at each school site and one day dedicated to assessments. Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA Experience working with K-12 students in educational settings Ability to manage a high caseload and conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, school staff, and families Flexibility to accommodate full-time or part-time schedules Location: Hayward, CA Responsibilities: Provide speech and language therapy to K-12 students at two elementary school sites Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success This posting seeks candidates available for immediate interviews.
