A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certified with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and qualified for school settings. This contract position is based at an elementary school in Union City, CA, and is scheduled for the upcoming school year.
Responsibilities include delivering individualized speech and language assessments and therapy services to students, collaborating with educators and families to support student communication development, and maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports. The SLP will contribute to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment by recommending appropriate interventions and resources.
Desired qualifications and experience:
Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
Current state licensure and credential as a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist
Proven experience working with elementary-aged children in an educational setting
Strong skills in assessment, therapy implementation, and individualized education program (IEP) development
Excellent communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration with staff and families
Location:Union City, California - elementary school environment
