Part-Time Produce Clerk
Join our dedicated Produce team, where you will play a vital role in delivering the freshest produce to our customers! As a key member of the team, you will assist in receiving and preparing products, maintaining an appealing display on the produce floor, and providing exceptional service that upholds Whole Foods Market standards. This position involves breaking down deliveries, stocking shelves, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations while bringing positive energy to our shopping environment. Job Responsibilities
Maintain a fresh and attractive display by keeping cases and shelves clean and well-stocked, including front-facing products and removing outdated items. Assist the Team Leader in organizing and displaying seasonal items effectively. Monitor for spoilage and communicate waste concerns to buyers and Team Leaders. Complete required spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets. Participate in periodic inventory checks. Arrive at your work station on time, well-groomed, ready to work, and maintain attendance at required trainings and meetings. Deliver excellent customer service, addressing customer needs promptly and utilizing suggestive selling techniques. Maximize sales potential through proper procedures for prepping, storing, stocking, and merchandising products. Follow established procedures related to health, sanitation, and safety practices. Ensure a clean and sanitary working environment, maintaining equipment per Whole Foods Market standards. Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned, ensuring accuracy in signs and pricing. Report safety hazards and violations immediately. Perform other duties as assigned by store or regional leadership. Job Skills

No prior retail experience required. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
Must be able to lift 50 pounds. In an 8-hour workday: standing/walking for 6-8 hours. Hand use involves grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling. Work includes bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching. Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals. Exposure to temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Ability to work in both wet and dry conditions. Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to use tools and equipment, including knives and pallet jacks. Possible use of ladders. The compensation for this position ranges from $15.00 to $24.40 per hour, based on experience.
