Office Assistant II
Job Location: Santa Rosa, California
Job Type: Temporary
Pay Rate: $21-$23/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8am-5pm
Description of Position:
Do you have strong organizational skills and attention to detail? We are seeking a Document Imaging Technician to assist with receiving, organizing, and digitizing paper forms and digital files. This is a temporary assignment lasting approximately six months with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in document management.
Job Responsibilities:
Receive, organize, and process incoming paper forms and digital files for imaging Scan and digitize physical documents, ensuring, high quality and accurate images Review scanned files for clarity and accuracy, making corrections as needed Organize and label digital files according to company protocols for easy retrieval Upload digitized documents into the company's online storage system with accurate metadata Handle sensitive documents with care and maintain confidentiality Maintain and troubleshoot scanning equipment as necessary Assist with other administrative tasks related to document management
Description of Company: You will be supporting a government agency in a city in Sonoma County. Experience Required:
Experience in document scanning, imaging, or data entry preferred Proficiency with scanning equipment and software Strong attention to detail with the ability to process high volumes of documents Familiarity with online document storage systems a plus Ability to handle confidential information securely Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
