This position demonstrates critical thinking, creativity, and resource management to achieve quality performance, positive employee relations, and compliance with hospital guidelines. This role involves coaching, mentoring, and leading a professional and technical team in delivering services to the patient population. Additionally, this position monitors the quality of care delivered to patients, administers medications and treatments as prescribed, and ensures effective stewardship of resources. Responsibilities for this role include acting as a change agent, implementing necessary changes in collaboration with the Manager/Director, and maintaining respectful relationships with patients, families, physicians, and other contacts. The value you'll bring to the team: Perform venous access procedures within the scope of RN licensure, ensuring proper technique and patient safety. Administer and monitor infusion therapy treatments, adjusting care plans based on patient responses and needs. Assess patients' conditions to determine appropriate venous access methods and address any complications. Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients requiring venous access and infusion therapy. The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: Nursing Associate of Science Degree - ASN Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association Registered Nurse (RN) A minimum of 1 year of recent relevant experience Preferred qualifications: Bachelor's of Nursing Certified Critical Care Nurse (CCRN) Certified RN Infusion (CRNI) Neonatal Resuscitation (NPR) Chemotherapy Certification (CHEMO) ANCC Board Certified Med-Surg Plus RN (RNBCMS) Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN) CRNI - Certified Registered Nurse Infusion Neonatal Resuscitation Protocol Advanced (NRPA) NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS) NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation NonViolent Crisis Intervention Program (CPI) Registered Nurse (RN) CN-M SURG - Certified Medical Surgical RN Critical Care OB AVADE education PEDS NICU PICCS education Spine Education This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
