Days The role youll contribute:
Oversee the operation of a specified nursing unit to ensure high-quality patient care and services. Demonstrate critical thinking, creativity, and resource management to achieve performance goals, foster positive employee relations, and ensure compliance with hospital guidelines. Lead, coach, and mentor a professional and technical team, monitor the quality of care, administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and effectively manage resources. Act as a change agent by implementing necessary changes in collaboration with the Manager/Director, and maintain respectful relationships with patients, families, physicians, and other contacts. The value youll bring to the team:
Perform venous access procedures within RN scope, ensuring safety and proper technique. Administer and monitor infusion therapies, adjusting care plans as needed. Assess patients' conditions to determine appropriate venous access and address complications. Develop and implement individualized care plans for venous access and infusion therapy patients.
Qualifications The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed:
Required qualifications: Nursing Associate of Science Degree - ASN Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association Registered Nurse (RN) Minimum of 1 year relevant experience
Preferred qualifications: Bachelor's of Nursing Certified Critical Care Nurse (CCRN) Certified RN Infusion (CRNI) Chemotherapy Certification (CHEMO) Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN) CRNI - Certified Registered Nurse Infusion Neonatal Resuscitation Protocol Advanced (NRPA) NonViolent Crisis Intervention Program (CPI) Registered Nurse (RN) CN-M SURG - Certified Medical Surgical RN
