Key Responsibilities
Essential duties and Responsibilities:
Support with Vendors/Suppliers.
Help maintain supplier relationships and ensure consistent communication regarding orders and delivery schedules.
Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure inventory processes run smoothly.
Purchasing & Order Management
Assist with issuing purchase orders and follow up on order status and delivery timelines.
Ensure accuracy documentation for ethnic purchase orders.
Help track shipments, identify potential issues (delays, shortages), and report on status to the team.
Logistics Coordination Assistance
Work alongside the logistics team to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
Provide support in resolving logistical issues related to shipping and appointments.
Coordinate appointments and local pick-up.
Cost Control & Reporting
Assist in monitoring stock levels, margins/profits, and aging/distress inventory.
Assist in generating reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and inventory levels.
Create and maintain the item codes for the category.
Key Qualifications
Experience: 2-4 year of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain support (preferably in retail or distribution).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
High sense of urgency and time-management skills.
Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, experience with ERP system, B.I./Power B.I. a plus.
Basic understanding of supply chain management and inventory processes.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
