The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, and a passion for providing top-notch IT support. Key Responsibilities: Desktop Support: Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers. Ensure all desktop systems are up-to-date with the latest software and security patches. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues. Maintain an inventory of all desktop hardware and software. Access Management: Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls. Implement and enforce security policies and procedures. Monitor and respond to security incidents and access breaches. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Computer Setup and Deployment: Coordinate the setup and deployment of new computer systems. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for computer setup. Ensure proper configuration and customization according to user needs. Manage the lifecycle of desktop hardware from procurement to disposal. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to internal users. Act as a point of escalation for complex IT issues. Develop and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders. Gather and analyze user feedback to improve IT services. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT processes and procedures. Generate regular reports on IT support metrics and performance. Provide recommendations for continuous improvement based on data analysis. Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in IT support Experienced in a smaller office environment and interacting with all employees Strong technical knowledge of desktop hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and common software applications. Experience with access management and security protocols. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL) are a plus.
