Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PET/CT) Location: Walnut Creek, CA Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (Flexible Scheduling Available) Salary Range: $145,600 - $197,600 annually Schedule: Early mornings and afternoon shifts available, Monday through Friday Industry: Healthcare / Imaging / Diagnostic Services Overview We are seeking a qualified and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PET/CT) to join a dynamic imaging center that is expanding its services with the addition of a PET scanner. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who enjoys working independently in a low-volume, patient-focused environment. You will be responsible for both performing PET and CT scans and handling radiopharmaceutical administration for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. The position offers flexibility, a predictable patient flow, and the chance to be a key contributor in a highly specialized team. Key Responsibilities Perform PET and CT scans to obtain high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation. Administer radiopharmaceuticals and radioligand therapies, adhering strictly to safety protocols and aseptic techniques. Maintain and manage the hot lab in compliance with all applicable regulations and standards. Maintain accurate and timely patient records, scan documentation, and equipment logs. Calibrate and maintain imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and image quality. Educate patients about procedures, helping them understand the process and addressing concerns. Stay informed on the latest advancements in nuclear medicine and theranostics. Collaborate with other staff, including consulting nuclear technologists, to ensure best practices and quality care. Work Schedule Monday: 5:00 AM - 11:00 AM Tuesday: 12:15 PM - 6:15 PM Wednesday: 5:00 AM - 11:00 AM Thursday: 12:15 PM - 6:15 PM Friday: 5:00 AM - 11:00 AM Note: Flexibility is available. Candidates do not need to commit to all five days. Saturday coverage may be an option if preferred.
