Location: Vernon, CA Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 Marketing Message: Are you a payroll professional who loves getting the details right while also finding smarter ways to use systems? Archer Meat Snacks is looking for a Payroll & Systems Specialist to ensure accurate and timely payroll while helping us unlock the full potential of ADP Workforce Now. In this role, you won't just process payroll, you'll be a critical partner in improving HRIS workflows, strengthening data integrity, and delivering reporting that helps HR, Finance, and leadership make better decisions. What You'll Own & Impact: Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy across hours, deductions, benefits, and taxes Maintain and update payroll records for hires, terminations, promotions, and pay rate changes Review and reconcile timekeeping data for accuracy before each payroll cycle Partner with HR and Finance to ensure proper benefits deductions, payroll funding, and GL postings Generate and audit payroll reports, and respond to audit or compliance requests Act as system administrator for ADP Workforce Now
managing workflows, upgrades, and system configurations Monitor and maintain HRIS data integrity while supporting reporting needs across HR and Finance Create custom reports and dashboards to provide insights and support decision-making Identify opportunities to streamline payroll and HR processes through system automation Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations while safeguarding sensitive employee data What Sets You Apart: 35 years of payroll experience, ideally in a multi-state environment Strong knowledge of HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred) Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and analyze large data sets Experience reconciling payroll data with benefits and general ledger entries Ability to build and deliver reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analysis Payroll certifications (FPC or CPP) preferred but not required Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and time management skills A high level of confidentiality and integrity when working with sensitive employee information Why Join Us?
