Roll Grinder Operator
Our client, a leading player in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Roll Grinder Operator to join their team. As a Roll Grinder Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting various operational teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and a willingness to learn, which will align successfully in the organization. Location: Austell, GA What's the Job? Set up, operate, and maintain large roll grinders used to regrind various materials including rubber and steel covers on large diameter paper machine rolls. Display a positive attitude conducive to a collaborative shop environment. Perform required job functions in a safe and efficient manner while promoting quality standards. Utilize overhead cranes and other equipment to lift and move heavy loads as needed. Be willing to learn and perform other operational tasks as required, including potential shift work. What's Needed? Experience with large roll grinders and overhead cranes is preferred. Ability to perform manual lifting (up to 40 lbs) and operate various industrial equipment. Background in paper mill roll grinding or similar industrial equipment operation is advantageous. Dependability regarding attendance and a willingness to work overtime when required.
