Millwright Mechanic
Our client, a leader in the industrial sector, is seeking a Millwright Mechanic to join their team. As a Millwright Mechanic, you will be part of the maintenance team supporting the operations of paper industrial machines. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully with the organization. Location: Austell, GA Shift: 2nd shift What's the Job? Inspect and troubleshoot the condition of paper rollers. Measure bearing clearances and install various types of bearings. Read blueprints and technical drawings to guide repairs. Disassemble and reassemble mechanical systems effectively. Utilize hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools in daily tasks. What's Needed? Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent. Exhibit safety as a core value and communicate a shared vision for safety. Willingness to develop skills in multiple areas, including millwright and welding. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
