Rockefeller Capital Management Accountant

Rockefeller Capital Management is looking for an Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing organization focused on serving sophisticated clients across wealth management, asset management, and strategic advisory. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for continuous improvement. Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis

Prepare and deliver timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including regulatory filings and audited financial statements Present monthly financial results and key performance indicators to Senior Management, highlighting trends, variances, and actionable insights

Month-End Close Process

Lead and support the monthly close process, including preparation and review of journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with departments across the firm to gather and validate financial data, ensuring accurate revenue and expense recognition Investigate and explain fluctuations in financial statements, providing clear documentation and analysis

Audit & Compliance

Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation for interim and year-end audits Liaise with external auditors and respond to audit inquiries in a timely and professional manner

Process Improvement & Technology Integration

Collaborate with Finance and Technology teams to identify opportunities for process automation and simplification, including the use of AI-driven tools Contribute to the design and implementation of best practices in financial operations and reporting

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, preferred CPA certification or progress toward CPA, strongly preferred 812 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within financial services or a similarly complex environment Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and advanced formulas Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, preferred Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently, and manage multiple priorities Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues A collaborative team player with a growth mindset and eagerness to learn Disclosure
