Duties:
This role will serve as the front-line resource for students, staff, and guests seeking information, directions, and support for ASUCLA programs and services. The Info Desk Associate's main responsibilities consist of, but are not limited to, the following: Answer incoming calls and direct them appropriately within ASUCLA and campus departments, manage Lost and Found program, assist with directory support and provide campus navigation help, act as a resource for ASUCLA programs, services, and events, process and track Help Desk submissions and notify relevant departments, and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
Requirements:
Requires frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, gripping, and lifting up to 25 lbs. Must have some availability during break weeks. Detail oriented, and be able to work independently as well as on a team. Available at least 10 hours each week, and must be available during Week 10 and Finals Week of each quarter. Must have some availability to work Federal Holidays when the Student Union is open, even though class is not in session, as well as Winter Break and Spring Break.
