Job Description/Duties:
Responsible for Post Office duties, including, but not limited to, receiving and sorting mail, working with the public selling postage, weighing packages, stamping envelopes, ensuring that mail is addressed correctly, assisting customers with questions they may have, restocking, keeping the Post Office clean and taking inventory. Employee will be responsible for handling cash, checks, credit cards, and stamps.
Requirements: Excellent customer service skills Positive attitude with a friendly and professional demeanor Ability to work in a multicultural environment Ability to learn and adapt on the job Requires frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, gripping, and lifting up to 25 lbs. On-campus training starts as hired Must have some availability during break weeks Available at least 10 hours each week Must be available to work 10th and Finals week of each quarter Must have some availability during break weeks Successful candidates will be fingerprinted Cash handling skills are a plus, but not required Must be able to work on campus starting September 7th to start training Two-year commitment is a plus, but not required
