Why You Should Apply: We are seeking a Commercial Lines Product Manager to lead the development and launch of new commercial lines programs. This is a highly technical, hands-on role where you'll design, enhance, and implement insurance products that align with market needs, deliver profitability, and support long-term business growth. As this is a new and growing department, the role offers the opportunity to shape strategy, process, and future direction.

What You'll Be Doing: Lead the end-to-end product development process, including rate, rule, and form filings for new commercial lines products.

Partner with Sales, Risk Management, Actuarial, Underwriting, Claims, Systems, Legal, and Regulatory teams to ensure new products are comprehensive, profitable, and compliant.

Manage filing submissions (SERFF, IRFS) and coordinate timely responses to regulator inquiries.

Translate product requirements into programming needs for policy administration systems and validate system implementation pre- and post-launch.

Develop reporting requirements and leverage advanced data analysis to monitor program performance, trends, and ROI.

Provide oversight on pricing, segmentation, program results, and compliance with statistical and regulatory data requirements.

Support onboarding and technical development of new department staff.

Stay current on emerging trends in P&C insurance and share insights across the business.

Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline (required)

P&C License (required); CPCU designation strongly preferred

Minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial lines product management within the insurance industry

Strong knowledge of ISO rules, forms, regulatory filing processes, and competitor/market analysis

Proven record of successful product development and launch in commercial lines

Advanced analytical skills and experience working with data reporting and analysis

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information

Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines with accuracy

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint)
