Now accepting applications for a FT Facilities/Maintenance Coordinator. Assists all maintenance personnel in preventative and maintenance programs for the buildings, grounds, and equipment at the campus. Ideal candidate must be organized, have strong communication skills and supervisory experience. Will oversee refurbs of inventory including cottages, villas, and apartments in both independent living and healthcare. Knowledge of DHEC regulations desired. HVAC certification required. We host Open Interviews on Tuesdays from 11-2.POSITION SUMMARY: The Facilities Coordinator will coordinate all work orders and housekeeping requests of Housekeeping and Maintenance Services for the entire campus under the supervision of the Director of Facility Services. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Represents the campus in a positive manner while creating an environment that fosters respect and courtesy for residents and employees alike. Works within the campus programs to encourage and promote safety and the well-being of all residents and employees.Upholds the campus's Mission Statement.Maintains HIPAA standards and regards all medical or healthcare information pertaining to residents and employees as confidential.Distribute daily work orders to appropriate staff and report progress to DFS.Monitor daily work order completion.Track/Document housekeeping requests.Track/Order routine housekeeping and maintenance supplies.Track deep clean schedules for all members.Access It (FOB) entry and updates.Track staffing needs and report to DFS.Conduct routine quality inspections with the DFS for housekeeping and maintenance projects.Assist the Housekeeping Supervisor as needed with staffing call outs/PTO.Assist the DFS with Maintenance call outs/PTO.Travels occasionally for training sessions, continuing education opportunities, emergency situations, and other company functions.Responsible for knowledge of fire and safety procedures including those involving blood-borne pathogens.Remains in proper uniform at all times and maintains a high standard of appearance.Completes all work in a timely manner.Comprehends budget and exercises cost control.Interacts well with marketing tours and prospective residents.Maintains excellent resident and employee Handles complaints and recommendations constructively.Participates in and attends all in-service training and education programs as scheduled.Other duties as assignCOMPETENCIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:Technical Skills - Individual must demonstrate current and ongoing competence in tasks assigned which indicates a specialized skill in this area above and beyond the average.
