Our success depends on our people and we are looking to add a motivated and detail-oriented Receiving Specialist to our logistics team. Position Overview: The Receiving Specialist plays a critical role in the day-to-day operations of our warehouse and manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on position responsible for receiving, inspecting, and routing all incoming shipments from vendors, customers, and external partners. The ideal candidate will be organized, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, industrial environment. This role also provides support to the shipping department as needed and requires regular use of forklifts and other material-handling equipment. Key Responsibilities: Receive and unload all incoming deliveries using forklift and other equipment. Verify the accuracy of shipments by comparing packing slips and purchase orders. Inspect incoming materials for damage or defects and document any discrepancies. Label and route materials to appropriate departments or storage locations. Communicate effectively with internal teams (purchasing, manufacturing, quality control, etc.) to ensure materials reach the correct destination. Assist with packaging and preparing outgoing shipments when needed. Maintain a clean and organized receiving area in compliance with safety regulations. Accurately enter data into inventory management or ERP systems. Collaborate with vendors and carriers to resolve shipment issues. Perform routine inventory counts and help monitor stock levels of incoming materials. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse or receiving role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Forklift certification (or ability to obtain) required. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods. Basic computer skills (email, inventory systems, data entry). Strong communication and teamwork skills. Experience with shipping/receiving software or ERP systems is a plus. Why Work at MAC Products?
