Job Description Shipping/Receiving Specialist — Fort Worth, TX
Overview Seeking a Shipping/Receiving Specialist to support warehouse operations, inbound/outbound logistics, and documentation for domestic and international shipments. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, regulatory compliance (incl. hazardous materials), and on-time delivery.
What You’ll Do Verify identification and condition of incoming/outgoing shipments; match paperwork and update ERP.
Pick, pack, and stage orders using laptops/hand scanners; print/batch pick tickets; prepare pulls/returns.
Place parts in correct locations after verifying part numbers; perform cycle counts and inventory adjustments.
Schedule, track, and monitor inbound/outbound shipments; coordinate with carriers and vendors to meet deadlines.
Prepare export documents, shipping manifests, and
dangerous goods
paperwork; validate SDS for chemical shipments.
Apply trade-compliance and environmental handling practices for hazardous materials; follow DOT/IATA/IMDG guidance as applicable.
Arrange cost-efficient routing while meeting customer requirements.
Required Qualifications 2–4 years related
warehouse/shipping/receiving
experience.
Ability to lift and carry up to
35 lbs
independently; handle heavier cartons with approved equipment.
Experience operating material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, carts; forklifts if certified).
Intermediate
Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook ; basic ERP data entry.
VantageClear Certification.
English

fluency.
