Material Handler

where you'll be integral to managing all inbound materials, including roll stock and various production supplies. This dynamic role encompasses the full spectrum of receiving, distribution, and precise inventory control, requiring accurate documentation and a proactive approach to maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment. You'll also play a crucial part in preparing and delivering materials for work-in-process, ensuring seamless operational support. The base pay rate for this role is

$20.00 to $25.50 per hour,

based on experience as well as versatility on specialized motorized vehicles, including Clamp Trucks, Turret Trucks, and other PIV's. WHAT YOU’LL DO ON THE A-TEAM: As Material Handler in the warehouse, you will: Load and unload trailers. Receive, sort, and deliver all incoming items from couriers to their appropriate departments. Move and organize received materials into designated warehouse locations. Receive and deliver printed samples to the appropriate departments. Manage and maintain inventory of all materials, including printed goods, supplies, and roll stock. Inspect incoming rolls for damage, documenting and reporting any issues to purchasing. Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and record their warehouse location. Segregate and manage rejected or scrapped materials, and deliver roll stock to the press as needed. Maintain a safe and orderly warehouse, and be responsible for the proper operation of all company equipment. Prepare and process all outgoing shipments, including mail and freight. Assist with customer warehousing and other special duties as assigned by management. Handle all responsibilities safely, confidentially, and with a positive attitude toward customers and coworkers. WHAT YOU’LL NEED: Previous experience driving a forklift in a warehouse or Shipping and Receiving required. 1 year of Clamp Truck driving experience (preferred). Must be able to distinguish different types of stock and identify grades using a Grade Equivalency or Competitive Grade Finder chart. Must have good driving skills and the ability to drive a fork and clamp truck into extremely tight spaces. One year experience in job costing, billing or equivalent accounting functions preferred. Strong written and communication skills. Requires computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Current valid Drivers License. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Frequent sitting Frequent use of hands to type, finger, handle, grasp or touch objects and tools Frequently is required to talk or listen Occasional standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, squatting, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting, bending, reaching Must be able to lift and carry boxes and material up to 50 lbs. to various departments throughout the plant and offices. Must be able to lift and change propane tanks. A full tank weighs approximately 70 lbs. and must be raised 5 feet from the floor to the proper position on the truck. WHAT WE OFFER: Comfort & Growth:
